Dyspraxic girls might experience isolation and this could potentially lead to low self-esteem. However, continuing to practice self-love, especially when one is faced with doubt and fear. Self-love can come in different forms. For example, talking positively about yourself or to yourself. It can nullify feelings that can pose to be uncomfortable. Another form of loving oneself is doing a self-care routine. If you are unsure of what to do for your routine, I recommend starting with this sample routine and you can customize it to whatever you would like to do.

“That Girl” Daily Routine (School Edition)

7:00 am: wake up early—studies show that waking up early makes you feel more energetic and productive.

7:05 am: morning meditation—think about what you are grateful for and what you aim to do

today

7:15 am: shower

7:30 am: do your skincare routine—wash your face, apply moisturizer and sunscreen.

8:00 am: eat breakfast—one breakfast dish I’ve been eating a lot lately is avocado toast!

8:30 am: exercise (try the balancing exercises!)

9:00 am: review what you have to do for the day to stay organized, check your journal or

calendars to remind yourself of any important tasks for the day

9:05 am: go to campus and attend your classes

12:00pm: lunch break—if you want to boost your memory, I recommend eating brain foods full of Omega 3, Choline, or Magnesium.

1:00pm: head to the campus library and study for 2 hours

3:00pm: break for 30 minutes (remember to hydrate!)

3:30pm: study for 2 more hours

5:30pm: leave the library and head home

6:00pm: dinner

7:00 pm: light studying while watching Netflix

9:00pm: night skincare routine—wash your face with cleanser, use your night serums and night moisturizer.

9:30pm: journal and plan for the next day—think about what you did today that made you happy or anything that you were grateful for.

10:00pm: lights out and goodnight! Make sure to have lots of sleep to wake up energized and ready to start the next day.
