Although acne is normal and everyone experiences it from time to time, it can be frustrating and difficult to deal with. Here are some of the common causes for acne and some tips that might help.
Reduce the amount of refined sugar in your diet. Excess sugar can cause inflammation, which, in turn, increases the amount of sebum (oily substance) in your skin, which can lead to acne. Try to cut back on refined sugars, such as those found in processed foods.
